Yeah, the difference is night and day. When Julia plays solo acoustic, the banter turns into a whole thing — she’ll tell you the backstory of a song, crack self-deprecating jokes about tour life, and let silences hang. It feels like a friend chatting before playing you a new track.

With a full band, it’s tighter. She’ll still say funny stuff, but the pacing is different. The band keeps the energy up, so she’ll throw in a quick line, maybe a “this one’s about my ex” or “we’re trying something new,” then straight into the next song. Less storytelling, more momentum.

Honestly, both work great. The solo show is for sinking into the lyrics. The band show is for feeling them.
