Sort craft supplies by use, not color

Sorting craft supplies by color looks great on Instagram, but it’s the least effective way to find what you need in a small space.

Pegboards are fantastic for frequently used tools—scissors, punches, rulers—because you can see everything at a glance. Clear jars work for small items like beads, buttons, and ribbon scraps. The trick is grouping them by what they do, not by color. Put all red buttons in one jar, yes, but that jar sits next to the blue buttons because they’re both buttons. Otherwise you’ll waste time hunting through six color-coded jars to find the one gold eyelet you need.

In a small space, every inch matters. Use pegboard for vertical storage of the stuff you reach for daily. Keep less common supplies
