Spring car prep is just tires, wipers, and fluids.

Yeah, it’s really that simple. You can knock it out in ten minutes with zero tools other than a tire gauge and a dollar bill.

Check your tires first. Cold pressure matters — pump them to what the door sticker says, not the sidewall. If you ran winter tires, swap them out once highs stay above 45°F. If you’re on all-seasons, make sure tread is above 2/32” (stick a penny in the groove — if you see Lincoln’s head, replace them).

Wiper blades take abuse all winter. Just replace them. They’re cheap and you’ll notice the difference the first rainstorm. While you’re at it, top off the washer fluid — spring means mud and pollen.

Pop the hood. Check oil level, coolant level, and make sure the battery terminals aren’t corroded. That’s it. No need to overthink it.

Your car will thank you, and your wallet won’t hate you for skipping a shop visit.
