Squeeze, don't wring.
Lay it flat or hang it in the shade.
Wringing a wet swimsuit twists the elastic fibers and ruins the fit. Instead, gently squeeze out excess water (press between towels if you want to be extra careful), then lay it flat on a drying rack or hang it over a shower rod. No dryer, no radiator, no direct sunlight — heat breaks down elastic and UV fades colors.
If you’re in a hurry, roll it in a dry towel and step on it. That’s as aggressive as it should get.
Your swimsuit will last longer than the summer if you just let it dry naturally.
