Stainless steel and silicone are your beach jewelry.

Leave your gold and silver at home. Saltwater will wreck them.

Surgical stainless steel is cheap, looks fine, and doesn’t care about the ocean. Same with titanium. Silicone rings are the move if you want something that won’t catch on anything. They’re comfortable, dry fast, and come in plenty of colors.

Avoid anything plated, anything gold-filled, and definitely avoid real silver. Even “waterproof” claims on cheaper metals are usually lies after a few dunks. If you’re set on gold, go for solid gold (14k or higher) but honestly, why risk losing it in the waves?

The whole point of beach jewelry is not worrying about it. Pick something you won’t cry over losing.
