Start over with a fresh map.

That’s the fix. Overlapping rooms happen when the robot tries to merge two different mapping runs, or when you moved furniture while it was mapping. The software gets confused and just lays rooms on top of each other.

Delete the existing map from the app. Then run a dedicated mapping run (often called “Quick Map” or something similar) with every door open and obstacles like shoes and cords picked up. Let it finish completely before you start setting up no-go zones or room labels.

Some vacuums let you manually drag and resize room boundaries after mapping. If yours does, that can patch a bad map. But if the rooms are genuinely overlapping, you’re better off wiping the slate clean.

Your robot needs to see the whole house in one clean pass. Give it that, and overlapping rooms disappear.
