The trick is to separate “charging” from “storage.” A wall-mounted station (like a simple power strip screwed to the side of your nightstand or desk) keeps the active cables visible and accessible. Then a cable management box hides the excess length and the brick. You don’t need a fancy one — a $15 plastic box with rubber grommets works fine.

For a small bedroom, mount the station somewhere you can reach from your bed or desk but out of foot traffic. I use a small adhesive hook to hold the cable from the charging box to the device so it’s not just dangling into the box. That alone stopped the daily tangle.

One warning: don’t cram too many cables into one box. If you have six devices, get two boxes or a bigger one. Overstuffing just recreates the problem in a different container.
