Store your mousepad flat, not rolled
Flat, in a cool, dry place, ideally under a light cloth or in a drawer.
Warping is usually caused by rolling a soft mousepad tightly for a long time, or leaving it on a hot surface. Stack it under a book or in a shallow drawer and it stays flat.
Dust just needs a cover. A thin cloth (like an old t-shirt cut to size) or a cheap plastic sleeve keeps the surface clean without trapping moisture. Avoid vacuum-sealing it—that’s overkill.
You don’t need a specialty case or box. The cardboard tube it came in is a fine sleeve if you must roll it. But flat is better.
Your mousepad doesn’t need a shrine— just a flat spot out of direct sun.
