Swapping RAM is a five-minute job.
Yes, it’s that easy. Pop the side panel, release the clips, pull out the old sticks, push in the new ones, close the case. That’s it.
If you’ve built a PC or changed a lightbulb, you already have the skills. The only thing to check is that your motherboard supports 32GB total (which it almost certainly does if it’s from the last ten years) and that you’re buying DDR4 or DDR5 sticks that match your system. Beyond that, there’s nothing to it.
Don’t overthink it. RAM is the easiest upgrade you can make. No drivers, no BIOS tinkering (usually), no cable management. Just 300 seconds of your life.
