Switch to chemical sunscreen to avoid white cast.

Mineral sunscreen (zinc oxide, titanium dioxide) leaves a white cast because it sits on top of your skin. That’s unavoidable unless you get micronized or tinted versions, which still aren’t perfect.

Chemical sunscreens absorb into the skin and leave zero white cast. They just work. The downside? Some people react to chemical filters, but for most of us, it’s fine.

You can also try “hybrid” sunscreens that mix both types, but honestly, pure chemical is the simplest fix.

Your face doesn’t need to look like a ghost just to avoid a sunburn.
