Pink Floyd’s corporate dissolution didn’t happen until over 25 years after Roger Waters left the band. The specific document was the “Pink Floyd Settlement Agreement,” signed in December 2013. It ended the partnership structure that had controlled the band’s name, logo, and catalog since the 1980s.
Under the deal, Waters sold his remaining shares in the company Pink Floyd Music Ltd. to David Gilmour, Nick Mason, and the estate of Rick Wright. This finally gave the trio full ownership and removed Waters from any financial or legal stake — effectively closing the book on the band
