The Australian Pink Floyd Show: The Tribute Band That Played with David Gilmour

The Australian Pink Floyd Show isn’t just another tribute act — they became so respected that original Pink Floyd members tapped them for private events. In 2006, David Gilmour invited the band to perform at his 60th birthday party in a floating nightclub on the Thames. Gilmour himself joined them on stage for a few songs, including “Comfortably Numb.”

That gig cemented their reputation. Since then, they’ve also performed with Nick Mason and been flown out for corporate gigs where only the real thing would do. The band’s attention to detail — same gear, same stage production — made them the go-to stand-in for the actual Pink Floyd experience.
