The Beatles only recorded two songs in German.

Two: “Komm, gib mir deine Hand” and “Sie liebt dich.”

That’s it. They did them in 1964 for the German market, because their label thought it would help sales. They sang them phonetically—they didn’t really speak German—and the lyrics are direct translations (not always great ones). The recordings are fun curiosities, but the band hated doing them and never recorded in another language again.

If you want the deep cut: there’s also a version of “I Want to Hold Your Hand” with some German phrases tossed in, but that doesn’t count as a full German recording.

You can find both on Past Masters, but honestly, the originals are better.
