The Cassie is lighter but the Bandit wears better.

The Bandit wins for long walks, if comfort matters more than keeping your shoulder from aching after an hour.

The Cassie is lighter on paper and in the hand—structured leather, smaller silhouette, less to carry. But that’s the problem: it’s rigid. The strap is thin, the bag doesn’t conform to your body, and after a mile you feel every corner digging into your hip. It’s a cute city bag for errands, not a walking bag.

The Bandit is heavier because it’s bigger and has more leather, but the weight distributes better. The strap is wider and softer, the bag rests against your body instead of poking it. You actually forget you’re wearing it. For a multi-hour walk, I’d take the Bandit every time.

That extra weight is real, though. If you pack light and your walk is under an hour, the Cassie is fine. But for long walks, comfort beats lightness every time.
