The song is “On an Island,” the title track from David Gilmour’s 2006 solo album. Polly Samson, Gilmour’s wife and frequent lyricist, co-wrote the words. Gilmour originally brought the song to Pink Floyd sessions for The Division Bell in the early 1990s, but the band rejected it.
