The Earls Court Show That Almost Ended Pink Floyd — Until They Added One More

Pink Floyd’s 1994 Division Bell tour was supposed to end for good on October 29 at London’s Earls Court. That date was explicitly planned as their final live performance — the band had even said so internally.

But demand was so high that they added one more show the following night, October 30. That extra date quietly became the tour’s actual finale, while the original “final” show faded into trivia. (Of course, the Live 8 reunion in 2005 later threw the word “final” out the window entirely.)
