The floor is the best place for a lunch box
Put your lunch box in the passenger footwell, not on the seat. The seat is a giant slope – every turn sends your lunch flying. The footwell is recessed, stable, and it won’t end up under the brake pedal.
If you really want it on the seat, lay down a rubber non-slip mat (the cabinet liner kind) first. That’ll grip the seat and the lunch box. Or just thread the seatbelt through the handle and buckle it – works fine for a thermos or a tote.
The footwell is the zero-effort fix. No extra gear, no forgotten mats, and your lunch stays put even on a windy road.
Future You deserves a lunch that isn’t wearing the floor.
