The Igloo BMX 25 is your best bet.
You’re not getting a rotomolded cooler that holds ice for five days for under $100—those start at $150 or more. But if you need something that keeps ice for two to three days and doesn’t fall apart, the Igloo BMX 25 is the one. It has a thick rubber latched lid and more insulation than your average cheap cooler. I’ve used mine for weekend camping trips and it still has ice on day three. Just don’t expect Yeti performance. Pre-chill it, keep it in the shade, and don’t open it every twenty minutes. For the price, it’s the sweet spot.
If you can stretch your budget by thirty bucks, the Ozark Trail 26-quart rotomolded from Walmart actually holds ice for days. That might be the real answer.
