The inflatable pig didn't actually record the wind sounds on 'Pigs (Three Different Ones)'

That pig was built for the Animals album cover photo shoot at Battersea Power Station – a 30-foot helium balloon designed to float between the cooling towers. It didn’t produce any sound for the song itself. The wind and atmospheric noises you hear on the record came from tape loops and studio effects, not a microphone strapped to a pig.

During the shoot, the pig broke loose and drifted into Heathrow airspace, causing a minor aviation incident. That real-life escape doesn’t sync to anything in the track. The band recorded the song at Britannia Row and later added pig squeals and farm animal sounds as overdubs, but the “wind” is just layered synthesizer and manipulated tape, not a field recording of a flying inflatable.
