The Night the Stones Finally Played 'Let It Bleed' Live in Adelaide

For 45 years, “Let It Bleed” sat in the vault—never performed on stage, despite being the title track of a classic album. That changed on October 25, 2014, when the Stones rolled into Adelaide Oval. It wasn’t just a deep cut; it was the first time they’d ever played it live, and they slipped it into the main set as if it had always been there.

The night also answered a fan’s sign request for “Dead Flowers.” Mid-show, Mick Jagger spotted a placard and pulled the song out of the air.
