The price gap between 16GB and 32GB is shrinking fast.

Typically $30 to $60 more for the same speed and latency. That’s it.

Two years ago you could argue the jump wasn’t worth it. Now? Games, browsers, and even Slack are memory hogs. 16GB is the new minimum, not the sweet spot. If you’re building a new PC or upgrading a current one, spend the extra. Future you will thank you when you don’t have to close Chrome tabs to run a game.

Unless you literally only check email and watch YouTube. Then save the money.
