The Rolling Stones' Four Consecutive UK No. 1 Studio Albums (1969–1973)

The Rolling Stones notched up four straight studio albums that hit No. 1 in the UK charts between 1969 and 1973. That streak is one of the most dominant runs by any rock band in British chart history.

The albums in order: Let It Bleed (December 1969), Sticky Fingers (April 1971), Exile on Main St. (May 1972), and Goats Head Soup (August 1973). All four topped the UK Albums Chart, with Sticky Fingers and Goats Head Soup also going No. 1 in the US. The run was broken by It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll (1974), which peaked at No. 2 in the UK.
