The rooftop concert is the whole deal.

Yes. 3 Savile Row is famous because the Beatles played their last public show on its roof.

The building was Apple Corps’ headquarters in the late 60s. The band had offices there, and on January 30, 1969, they took the stage — which was just the roof — and played for 42 minutes. It was their final live performance. The police shut it down because of noise complaints.

The building itself is a nice Georgian townhouse, nothing too special. But that rooftop moment is one of the most iconic in rock history. If you’re in London, it’s worth a quick photo stop, but the real magic lives in the footage.

Don’t expect to go inside. It’s private property now.
