The sarong knot is all you need.
Wrap it around your waist and tie it on one hip. That’s it. You’re done.
Everything else — halter tops, one-shoulder drapes, beach goddess looks — requires tying. But the basic waist wrap works for any body, any beach, and takes three seconds.
The trick: twist the top edge once before tying to keep it from sliding down. Then just adjust the length by how high you tie it.
If you want a top, fold it in half diagonally, tie the corners behind your neck and the other two behind your back. But honestly, the hip tie is faster and more comfortable.
Don’t overthink this. It’s a rectangle of fabric.
