The suction lunch box doesn't exist. Get these two things instead.

The EZPZ Mini Mat is the best suction plate for toddlers, but it’s not leak-proof — and that’s fine, because you’re really asking for two different things.

A true “lunch box” is meant to survive being tossed into a backpack and keep yogurt from dripping on the car seat. That requires a hard shell and tight seals. A suction base requires a flexible, wide surface that sticks to the table. Nobody makes a popular product that does both well.

If the table-knocking is the main problem, get the EZPZ Mini Mat. The whole thing is one piece of silicone, so the suction actually works — a toddler can peel it up, sure, but it won’t slide off. It does come with a lid option, but the lid is just for storing leftovers in the fridge. It will not survive a daycare bag sideways.

If you’re packing lunch to go, get a Bentgo Kids. It’s leak-proof, has compartments, and the latch is easy for little hands. It just won’t stick to the table. But that’s fine — Bentgo is for transport. You serve that food on a suction plate when you get there.

Buy both. Use each for what it’s good at. That’s the real answer.
