The wooden walkways at Cave of the Winds are not wheelchair or stroller accessible.

No. The main Discovery Tour and the lantern tour both involve steep stairs, narrow passages, and uneven wooden planks. There is no alternative route that bypasses the steps.

The park does offer a “Wild Tour” that involves climbing and crawling — also not accessible. If you are in a wheelchair or pushing a stroller, you will not be able to go down into the actual caves.

Your best bet is the viewing area at the entrance. You can see the canyon and the cave mouth from there, but that is it. The park’s own website confirms no accessible path inside the caves.

If you really want to see a cave, look for a commercial cave with elevator access — like Carlsbad Caverns (New Mexico) or Mammoth Cave (Kentucky). Those are built for everyone. This one is not.
