Titanium cups are the best for outdoor use.
Titanium is the most durable and lightweight material for picnic cups.
You want something that won’t dent, crack, or add weight to your pack. Titanium nails all three. It’s stronger per gram than stainless steel (which is heavy) and way tougher than silicone collapsible cups (which feel flimsy and can tip over). Plus it doesn’t leave a metallic taste like cheap aluminum.
Single-walled titanium cups are stupid light — think 2oz for a 12oz cup. Double-walled versions keep your coffee hot and your hands cool, but they cost more and weigh a bit more. Either way, they’re tougher than a Yeti Rambler at half the weight.
Look at Snow Peak, Toaks, or Vargo. They’re not cheap, but you only buy them once.
Your shoulders will thank you after the hike back.
