Turn off auto-empty in the app.
Yes — most robot vacuums let you disable the auto-empty function in the settings or through a Do Not Disturb schedule so it just vacuums quietly at night.
On Roomba, you find it under “Do Not Disturb” or “Auto-Empty” settings. Roborock and Dreame call it “Carpet Boost” or “Empty Dustbin” in the cleaning mode. Set a schedule that turns off auto-empty during your sleep hours, or just toggle it off manually before a nighttime run. Some models let you map a silent cleaning mode separately.
The catch: the vacuum will hold the dirt until you either empty it manually or let it empty when DND ends. Most bots can go two or three runs before the bin is full. Check your model’s dustbin capacity.
Much better than waking up to a jet engine at 2 AM.
