Two-tier shelf plus a tension rod

The most effective system for a small under-sink cabinet is a two-tier adjustable shelf combined with a tension rod for spray bottles.

The problem with most under-sink setups is that you waste vertical space because bottles are too tall to stack, and the pipes get in the way. A two-tier shelf (the kind that wraps around the plumbing) instantly gives you two levels. Put bulky bottles on the bottom, sponges and refills on top. The tension rod goes horizontally near the top of the cabinet, and you hang spray nozzles from it by their necks. Keeps them upright, easy to grab, and off the floor.

This system costs about $25 total, takes five minutes to install, and adapts to any cabinet shape. Skip the fancy pull-out drawers—they’re overpriced and steal depth. The shelf and rod work with whatever pipe configuration you have.

Your pipes will still be there, but at least you can find the all-purpose cleaner.
