Use a local cobbler for Coach zipper repairs.
Coach will fix it, but you’ll pay a premium and wait longer. A decent cobbler can replace a zipper for half the price in a fraction of the time.
Coach’s repair service is fine if you want an official job with branded parts and a guarantee. But they’ll charge you $60–100+ for a zipper replacement and you’ll be without the bag for weeks. A good cobbler does the same repair for $30–50 in a few days, sometimes while you wait. The zipper will look identical unless you’re a leather goods inspector with a magnifying glass.
The only exception is if it’s a rare or vintage Coach bag where authenticity matters. In that case, send it to Coach. Otherwise, save the money and walk to the cobbler.
