Use CPU-Z for soldered RAM speeds.
Yes, CPU-Z is the easiest way. Open it, go to the Memory tab, and look at the DRAM Frequency field. That number is half your effective speed (DDR doubles it). So if it says 1600 MHz, you’re running at 3200 MT/s — which is likely the rated speed for typical soldered LPDDR4X or DDR4.
BIOS works too, but soldered RAM often hides the XMP/DOCP manual settings you’d see on desktop. You might just see “Auto” or a locked frequency. CPU-Z gives you the real-time speed without digging through menus.
One thing: if you’re on a laptop, soldered RAM is usually paired with the CPU’s max supported memory speed, not necessarily the exact stick rating. But CPU-Z won’t lie about what’s actually running.
This is not where you need to stress. If it’s near the advertised speed, you’re fine.
