Use lotion sunscreen on your face.
Lotion is better. Spray sunscreen is convenient for your body, but on your face it’s a gamble.
The main issue is coverage. Spray is hard to apply evenly on a small, curved surface like your face. You’ll miss spots, especially around your nose and eyes. Plus you’re inhaling the stuff, which isn’t great. And if you get it near your eyes, it stings like hell.
If you’re in a pinch, spray into your hands first, then rub it on your face like lotion. That’s the best way to make spray work for your face. But at that point, you might as well just buy a dedicated facial lotion sunscreen. They’re formulated to be less greasy and less irritating.
Your face deserves the extra two seconds.
