Velcro straps and a cable channel — no drill needed.
The best no-drill cable management for a small desk is a combination of adhesive cable channels and reusable Velcro straps. Skip the fancy clips, zip ties, and anything that requires a power tool.
Get a pack of self-adhesive cable raceways (the J-channel kind — D-Line or similar). Stick one under the back edge of your desk to run the monitor cable and laptop charger wire. The raceway hides the cables on the underside, and the adhesive is strong enough for a wood or laminate desk. Clean with alcohol first.
For the loose ends — phone charger, laptop brick, any excess cable — use Velcro straps. Wrap each cable individually, then bundle them together behind the monitor. It keeps everything tidy without sticking anything to the wall or floor.
One tip: put the monitor power brick inside the cable channel if it fits. If not, tuck it behind the desk leg. Your desk will look cleaner in ten minutes.
