Walk across Goat Island — it's 15 minutes.
Yes, you can walk from the main Niagara Falls State Park entrance to Three Sisters Islands in about 15 minutes, maybe 20 if you stop for photos.
The route is simple: from the entrance near the Observation Tower, cross the bridge to Goat Island. Stay on the main path heading north (follow signs for Luna Island and the Bridal Veil Falls). Once you’re on Goat Island, keep walking past the Cave of the Winds entrance until you see the footbridges leading out to the Three Sisters. You can’t miss it.
There’s no tram or shuttle needed. It’s a flat, paved walk the whole way. The islands themselves are connected by short pedestrian bridges, so you can explore all three in another 10 minutes.
Don’t pay for a tour or a parking upgrade — just walk. The view from the middle island is worth every step.
