The Nerf Elite 2.0 Eaglepoint RD-8 Blaster is a gateway to active play and sibling battles — just establish the cat rule immediately. My kid and his friends spent an entire afternoon running around the yard, reloading, plotting ambushes, and generally being as active as kids should be. The 8-dart rotating barrel is easy to load and fires reliably, and the tactical rail lets them customize it with whatever accessories they have. The only downside is that foam darts will end up everywhere — under furniture, in the garden, behind the couch — and you’ll be finding them for weeks. Worth it for the looks of pure joy, though.
