Wikki Stix is one of those products that sounds bizarre until you see a kid actually use them. They’re wax-covered yarn sticks that stick to themselves and basically any surface — no glue, no mess, no cleanup. The Travelers Pack is the perfect size for car rides and restaurants, and the best part is they don’t make a sound and they don’t leave crumbs. My kid stayed occupied for a solid 45 minutes on a road trip, which in parent-time is basically a miracle. Weird concept, massive payoff, and costs almost nothing.
