The Narwal Freo asks for floor space and patience

The Narwal Freo gets a lot right — it vacuums, mops, washes its own mop pads, and dries them so nothing gets musty. But the downsides are worth knowing before you clear shelf space for that enormous base station.

The water tank is on the smaller side, so very large homes will need refills mid-clean. The battery life is average — not bad, but not the class leader either. And the base station itself is genuinely chunky; it takes up noticeable floor space in a way that the slimmer Roborock or Dreame docks don’t.

The real question is whether the self-washing mop feature justifies the footprint. If you mop regularly and hate handling dirty pads, the convenience trade-off makes sense. If mopping is an occasional thing, the base station becomes a lot of real estate for a feature you barely use.
