| SUBJECT | Mr. Clean vs Fabuloso: |
Yes. Mr. Clean comes ready-to-use in a trigger spray bottle with no measuring or diluting needed, while Fabuloso requires you to decide on dilution ratios, which most people skip.Which cleaner is better for everyday household cleaning?
Fabuloso is excellent for daily cleaning of light messes and leaves a pleasant scent, making it ideal for maintenance cleaning. Mr. Clean is better if you need heavy-duty grease removal alongside your regular tasks. There are two kinds of people in this world: people who grab whatever’s under the sink without looking, and people who have feelings about what’s under the sink. In our house, that divide runs straight down the middle of the kitchen and has, on at least one occasion, been the subject of a dinner-table discussion that started with ‘I’m just saying the counters don’t smell clean’ and ended with Dad drawing an actual Venn diagram on a paper towel. The products in question were Mr. Clean Multi-Surface Spray and Fabuloso All-Purpose Cleaner. We have had both under our sink at the same time. This is either very thorough or a cry for help.Mr. Clean is, broadly speaking, for the person who wants a product that sounds like a military contractor and smells like it too — antiseptic, no-nonsense, deeply American in the way that a firm handshake is deeply American. Fabuloso is for the person who believes cleaning should be a sensory experience, not a punishment, and who maybe also grew up in a household where the bathroom smelled like a lavender field after someone mopped it at 6 a.m. on a Saturday. Neither of these people is wrong. They just have different philosophies about what ‘clean’ means, which, it turns out, is a more loaded question than it sounds.
