A mopping dock used to be a premium feature reserved for flagship models. Now it’s the norm. The Dreame L40 Ultra, ECOVACS DEEBOT X2 OMNI, Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, Samsung Jetbot Mop, and Tineco Floor One S3 all come with docks that handle mopping pad cleaning, water refilling, or both.

The practical difference between these docks matters more than the brand names. Some wash the pads with clean water and scrub them, others just spray them down. Some dry them afterward to prevent smell, others leave that to you.
