SLAM navigation: worth it for any home bigger than an apartment
SLAM navigation turns a robot vacuum from a random bumper-car into something that cleans methodically — row by row, wall to wall, actually covering the space instead of bumping around hoping it hits everything. In larger homes or multi-pet households, it saves a real chunk of time because the battery goes into cleaning, not wandering. For a small apartment, random bump navigation is fine; for anything bigger, SLAM is the difference between “it ran” and “it cleaned.”
