UV rays come through windows, and it adds up faster than you think.
Windshields are treated to block most UVB but not UVA. Side and rear windows? Even less protection. That means the left side of your face is getting a daily dose of aging and skin damage just from your commute. Dermatologists call it “truck driver face” for a reason.
You don’t need anything fancy. A basic SPF 30 that says “broad spectrum” is fine. Apply it in the morning as part of your routine, not a special extra step. If you’re driving a lot, reapply or use a sunscreen stick on the driver-side arm and cheek.
This is one of those small habits that pays off ten years from now.
