You can't upgrade the RAM on the XPS 13 9370.

It’s soldered to the motherboard, and there are no SO-DIMM slots.

Dell made that choice to keep the chassis thin and light. The 9370 uses LPDDR3 memory, which is physically attached and not user-serviceable. That 8GB is what you’re stuck with until you replace the laptop.

If you need 16GB, you’d have to buy a different model or a used 16GB version of the 9370. This is something to check before buying any ultrabook from that era — most of them solder everything.

Future-proofing means buying the RAM you need upfront.
