It will. Just run a couple of cleaning cycles and let it roam.

Most robot vacuums use SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping) or similar tech. They update the map as they go. Moving furniture throws off the saved map, but after one or two full runs, the bot usually corrects itself. No need to factory reset or rebuild from scratch.

If it’s really lost, force a remap: tell it to clean the whole house or run a mapping-only pass (if your model supports it). That’s usually enough. The only time you’d need to delete the map entirely is if you moved walls, not a couch.

Stop micromanaging the robot. It learns faster than you think.
