Yes. The skin on your scalp is still skin, and your hair part exposes it directly to the sun. A sunburn there is extra miserable because you can’t really put aloe on it without greasing up your hair, and peeling scalp is its own special kind of hell.
Spray sunscreens are the easiest fix — just spray your part, rub it in lightly, and go. Or wear a hat. Either one beats a painful, peeling scalp and the increased skin cancer risk that comes with skipping it.
Don’t forget your ears, either.
