A towel ladder looks great but usually only works if you have one person and you’re disciplined about rotating. With multiple people, one ladder quickly becomes a wet towel pile. The rungs are narrow, so towels bunch up and dry poorly. You end up draping them over the top, then the next person adds theirs, and suddenly you’ve got a tower of damp fabric.
