Zone clean is for spot-cleaning a specific area; room clean is for an entire named room.

Room clean is straightforward: you tell the robot to clean the whole “living room” or “kitchen” — it uses the map and goes for it. Zone clean lets you draw a rectangle on the map (say, just under the dining table) and it only cleans that box. Useful if you spilled something or only need a section done.

They serve different purposes. Room clean is your default daily run. Zone clean is for targeted touch-ups. Both are better than a full-house clean when you don’t need it.
